our FAITH
Our Catholic faith at St. Gregory Barbarigo School is the heart and soul of our total educational program, focusing on:
- Living our daily motto: Do the Right Thing. Treat People Right. Live Like Jesus.
- Daily prayer
- Scheduled religion classes as part of our curriculum
- Weekly mass attendance by all grades
- Sacramental preparation for Reconciliation and Communion
- Serving those in need
Falcon Faith Families
Falcon Faith Families (FFF) are groups comprised of St. Gregory Barbarigo students, preschool through eighth grade. Each family is led by a Student Ambassador. Falcon Faith Families meet a minimum of once a month with the purpose of building camaraderie through shared activities among the various age groups in our school. Our goal is to build upon the respect and caring nature that is a vital part of our school community as we pray and share together.
Student Ambassadors lead their respective FFF through various prayer and reflection activities during Advent and Lent. They also spend time learning Christ skills and how to put them into practice so we can live our school motto: Do the Right Thing. Treat People Right. Live Like Jesus.
Please note that your child's safety is always our number one concern. Our FFF are led by Student Ambassadors and Assistants, but a teacher is always present.

catechesis of the GOOD SHEPHERD
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a hands-on approach to teaching the Catholic faith where the catechist's main role is to lead the child to God and allow them to rest there. This is accomplished through:
- Teaching hands-on activities that students can accomplish independently
- Creating a quiet and prayerful environment
- Encouraging the student's walk with Jesus through small group instruction
- Allowing kids to use their natural sense of wonder
CGS is taught in the Montessori Method and is currently for children ages three to nine. Classes are taught during the school week for preschool through third grade students.
